Phoned this supposed 24/7 garage door company to come assess and repair a garage door in San Francisco that is stuck open. I was quoted at a 2 hour wait max. 75 minutes later I received a call from a tech saying “something’s wrong with our truck and we won’t be able to make it tonight, but we can be there in the morning”. I said cancel my appointment because I’ll find another company. They replied “oh is it like an emergency or something?” Coupled with a ridiculous question of whether a San Francisco garage door stuck open is a time sensitive situation or not, their tone was very lazy. I said “Yes. Our garage door in San Francisco is stuck open. We need it to close and as soon as possible.” The tech said “oh that makes sense.”Why do you offer 24/7 services that you can’t follow through on and allow your techs to maintain an attitude of urgency not being a given?

I had a Lift Master opener that I bought in 2003. I thought it was great then. Recently the motor quit working properly and we submitted a claim through the home warranty company. Tarek, the technician inspected it and found that there was a broken part that needed to be replaced.During his initial inspection Tarek pointed out that the opener was technically not up to code. It only used one spring on the side of the tube instead of two in the center for a 16 ft. wide door. After discussing the options I decided to go for the upgrade.Ace’s Garage Door repair tried to order the replacement part, but it was discontinued. They were able to offer a new motor that was covered by the warranty. What a difference it makes! This one is so much quieter and there are more technical features. I did have a substantial out of pocket expense for the upgrade, but it’s well worth it since the whole system is going to be operating with a minimal amount of wear and tear.A big Thank You to Tarek and crew for your knowledgeable help and guidance.

Ace responded quickly and Falah arrived within an hour. He was professional, knowledgeable, and fixed our garage door in a timely manner. He was great and I was happy to have the garage door working again so quickly.

We have utilized Ace Garage and Repair two times. One in 2019 and again in 2025. Te garage spring broke down. They are very professional. Their are prompt. They send their team within a 2 hour window. The team has all the tools, equipment and quickly identify the issue and suggest all the changes required for now and future. Do the job without any inconvenience, give invoice, walk away. They even vacuum and clean any debris or any spillages.Highly recommend them.Thank you. !!!

Got my garage door spring replaced after it snapped. Malik came promptly and replaced. Excellent work without any fuss. Would highly recommend them.
