Evan's work for us could only be described as outstanding in every way. We were preparing to leave town for an important appointment and in the morning before our trip one of our garage springs broke so the door couldn't open. They had been in service for almost 20 years, so it was not unexpected but the timing was inconvenient. I called our contractor who suggested I call Evan, and shortly after I left a message, he returned my call and said he could come look at our situation immediately. He arrived soon after and was actually able to get our garage door working right then, temporarily, by installing an old used spring I had kept from a previous repair for exactly this emergency. So we were rescued and could get in an out a few times as needed for our trip, but then Evan turned to the permanent solution.Because we have a really heavy all wood garage door it requires customized springs to handle the weight. So Evan proposed to come by early the next morning, before we left on our trip, to weigh our door so he could order replacement springs. Since we were going to be away for about a week, Evan thought the timing might be perfect since it would take about a week to receive the custom manufactured springs and we wouldn't be needing to operate the garage door in the mean time.When we returned home, Evan had the new springs and was able to come the next day to install them. So this is the best repair we have ever had on our garage door. In the past other installers saved time and just installed another spring similar to the broken one, but they were never did the job right by weighing the door to get the perfect springs. Now is the first time ever our garage door has worked correctly.I am so grateful for Evan's prompt response to my call and his expertise in getting the correct custom replacement springs to do the repair perfectly. He was able to accommodate our situation to get our needs met totally. I would not hesitate to call him again if I ever have any problem with our garage door. This is my second time using this company and I highly support the work that has been done. For me to take the time to make a review, I am truly grateful. Each time I was impressed by the care and precision that Evan offers. Every detail is handled and done very clean. His knowledge of the products and everything is helpful. He made my life easier that he knew what to do and everything that needed to be done. He installed two garage door openers and a door for me, and the work was clean and he was good with technology as he had to sync my phone with garage opener. I reached out to Evan and his team on a whim hoping that I could find an easy fix to a sliding screen door that was torn up from the heavy snow this year. Lots of bugs in our area so having a screen in the summer is a must. He was able to pick up the door and replace the screen within the existing frame, which saved me money and time in not having to buy a whole new unit. They did this all in a matter of days and he was very communicative through the whole process. Pricing was reasonable and transparent as well. Would highly recommend them and they’ll be my first call if anything comes up in the future.
