OVERHEAD DOOR CO OF HOUSTON

This is not the same company they use to be....Had an issue with a large overhead door so called them 1st to take a look. Teach arrived almost at closing, spent at best 15 minutes and said there was nothing he could do and they would send me an estimate.....Got estimate of $6k and a service fee charge of over $600? Called another local company, they were here in less than 2 hours, he climbed up there and actually looked at what was going on, took pieces that fell out and put back together, he did say it needed more work but totally repairable but door will work for now and charged $236.....Over Head door was a complete rip off and would not trust any of their techs to look at or repair any of my 9 doors.....Don't waste your time on them unless you want to waste money and time.....sad because it was different years ago when they replaced a damaged door

Cody at Overhead door was great. Scheduled me for my appointment and the guys were even early. Extremely fair pricing and they knocked the rollup door out in 30 mins. Would recommend

We needed to replace our garage doors for a long time and after reading reviews and checking prices, we settled on Overheard Door Company. I emailed first and received an almost instantaneous response with exactly the information I requested. We also found a coupon on their website for the doors we wanted. We went to the showroom and Mario was fantastic. He explained all the options and wrote up the order. The installation tech arrived exactly on time and did an amazing job of taking down our old doors and installing our new doors. He was a complete professional. The doors look wonderful and he cleaned up after the job was done and he even hauled away our old doors. The price was better than other places with the coupon and we appreciated the personal, professional service, despite the fact that we were buying their least expensive doors. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I had called for fixing my garage, and they send someone to fix it. but the technician came to home and said we no longer work with Wayne Dalton. And charged me $123 for just saying we dont service and we can do replacement. I will never recommend. SCAM

I've been a customer for years. Last time they were out was 2022. They insisted I fill out an updated customer information form before they could even schedule a technician to come see why my door was not opening even though they had my information in their system. I have trucks to load and unload daily. I don't have time at the moment to do something that has nothing to do with getting a technician on the way. Nothing has changed about my customer information. Miner, your strict adherence to what should be a secondary issue regarding CIF cost you a customer. People really need to get their heads right and focus on who keeps their doors opened, no pun intended.I have two other companies who will have a technician here within the hour. and all it took was a simple phone call. It seems they understood the urgency of the issue. Edit to say that the phone was answered by a "collection specialist" rather than someone who I would expect to understand the urgency. You can do better Miner.
