AGGIELAND GARAGE DOOR

Aggieland installed our garage doors August of 2022. Within the year they came out twice to fix issues that were supposed to be done during the initial install. They never fixed the issue, and the garage doors would not properly close or shut. We contacted Aggieland and they informed me that, “You should have called within the year period”. Then proceeded to tell me that it would be a $457+ service charge to come out to rural Leon County, mind you, that was just for a service charge to come out. Well, they never installed the doors correctly and thanks to Currey Garage Doors & Gates they fixed the problem and went over everything that was wrong with the initial install. The rails were bowed at the top, everything had to be re-aligned they were a 1/2” to 2” off causing the garage door not to function properly. The tension spring on both doors had to also be adjusted, as well as the drums. Because the rails were so bowed, they rollers were chewed up because of them catching at every seam which would also prevent the doors from operating properly. Now I knew why the doors didn’t work correctly because of the terrible job they did at install. If you want to go with a company that claims to be the “Home of the lifetime, lifetime, lifetime warranty” and doesn’t warranty their product and shabby work, then please feel free. If you’re anywhere near the northern Brazos County line into Madison, Leon or Robertson, then I’d highly recommend Currey Garage Doors & Gates. They have great customer service, knowledge & experience and charge you hundreds of $$$ less than “Aggieland”. Worst customer experience and arrogance I’ve ever experienced. Obviously, whoever installed these doors had no experience and was not properly trained with no supervision on this particular job. Our builder will no longer be using this company because this is the same response he’s had on other jobs. Aggieland, please feel free to reach out to me, I’d be happy to actually go over this.

You should really try going with Chris and Aggieland Garage Door for their exceptional service and work ethic. He installed our garage door opener (which we bought separately) about 4 years ago and came to take a look at an issue we had recently. He answered our call back quickly and came early to our appointment. Chris tries to help you out and make sure everything is good. I strongly recommend and endorse their services.

Beyond incredible!! Called and Chris responded right away. When he came to the house he was friendly and gave us solid information. Ryan and Cole came out and replaced the motor and adjusted everything to tip top shape. This was all done quickly, professionally and at a good price with a great warranty. I cannot recommend Aggieland Garage Door high enough!!

(Not to mention the incredible deal I got on our door!) They were punctual, good communicators, and did a fantastic job on the work. You should hear how quiet our new door is—except you can’t—because it’s that quiet!My husband prefers to do most of our household repairs himself and was a little annoyed when I called in a professional to replace our door; however, after seeing the work they did, he has done nothing but gush about what a great job they did and how it was worth every penny! I’m still excited every time I pull into the driveway and see it (it really updated our older house!) and our new, insulated door is keeping our garage noticeably cooler, even in the hottest months of summer.We are completely satisfied customers who highly recommend Aggieland Garage Door, and won’t use anyone else!
