South Dakota Overhead Doors

We contacted South Dakota Overhead Doors for a garage door repair on our home’s 15yo door. The office staff was courteous and kindly helped troubleshoot one problem via texted photos. John attended the service call and was timely, professional, and knowledgeable. He was able to fix the problem with the pulley system and get the door running like new. We highly recommend this business and look forward to working with them on some future projects.

She was able to mock-up the doors we had in mind to purchase on her program, so we could see what it would look like. This is so important when you are purchasing garage doors. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend! Candence (in the office) was very friendly and was able to quickly get an appointment scheduled to fix our old wood roll-up garage door. She even called when they had a last minute opening a couple of days earlier. Ben (service tech) was a pleasure to work with. He's also very friendly and called when he was 15 minutes out. He clearly explained our options and was able to get the work done at that time. In addition to replacing frayed cables and rusted bottom brackets, he checked all of the screws, tightening loose ones and replacing stripped ones, and checked alignment and opener chain tension. Very thorough. Garage door works great. Pricing was very reasonable. This is the company to use. Thanks Ben!

I needed a simple repair for my very old garage door and I had a wonderful experience all around. The office staff was kind and helpful right away and everyone worked with my busy schedule to get things taken care of quickly. The technician (s) who came were also kind and helpful. And they got the job done quickly as well. Top to bottom, a great experience. If you're like me, and I know I am, you'll even pay a little more for good, kind service. And guess what? I didn't have to pay more. I was taken care of for a very modest pricepoint. Excellent.

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving there was a bad mishap with my garage door. Called SD Overhead Doors and they got someone out the next day just as a snow storm was supposed to hit. Got the door working which was open and wouldn't close. BEST SERVICE EVER! Would give 10 stars if I could.

I recently had SD Overhead Doors come out to fix my garage door after the track pulled away from the framing, installed by another door company. Turned out they had to completely reinstall the track and operating system. the work was done quickly, professionally, and on time. I highly recommend using them in the future for all new doors and service work.
