10/2023: Overhead Door Company of Baltimore is an absolute gem in the realm of garage door services. From the moment I first called, I was greeted by fast and friendly individuals who promptly answered my questions and set up an appointment without any fuss. It's rare to find such excellent customer service these days, and Overhead Door Company delivered it in spades.What truly sets them apart is their remarkable efficiency. Not only did they schedule my service quickly, but they also provided reasonable pricing, which was a pleasant surprise. They understand that garage door issues can be quite the inconvenience, and they certainly don't add to the stress with exorbitant fees.But where they truly shine is in the speed and precision of their work. The replacement parts I needed were installed with lightning speed, and the difference in my garage door's performance was nothing short of remarkable.

My experience with this company was very bad. While they replaced the spring on my door, they proceeded to charge me 1.25 hours travel time to drive to my location on top of the hour they took to replace my spring. In addition to a $9 fuel surcharge.This was not disclosed when we originally called them to make the appointment, but only after they had completed the work and presented us with the invoice.I find this to be outrageous but to not inform the consumer beforehand, I felt they have heard our comments before and the way to deal with it is not tell the customers until it is too late.My recommendation is to find a more reputable company to do your work.

I first started using Overhead Door several years ago after becoming frustrated with costs, repairs and maintenance performed by the original company that installed the door. Switching to Overhead Door was the best decision I could have made. I will continue using this company based on their honesty, fair pricing, integrity and knowledgeable technicians like Brandon and Nelson. I would highly recommend them to anyone..

Bad business model. They refuse to answer simple question over the phone and require to send a tech so they can charge you a site visit fee ($85). The question was about part availability/replacement which could be answered over the phone. It took the tech few second to let me know that they don't manufacture the garage door anymore (Overhead brand). Needless to say, I went with different company for door replacement. Congratulation of the $85 and you lost the bigger business. Stay away of this company otherwise they will take advantage of you for the life of your garage door.
