Middlesex Door Systems

I had an excellent experience with Middlesex garage door service. They were professional, responsive, and arrived right on time. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my garage door springs, cables, and pulleys, explained everything clearly, and gave me a fair price before starting the work. The repair was done efficiently, and my garage door now works smoother and quieter than it has in years. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everything was safe and working perfectly before leaving.I really appreciated the honest service and attention to detail. It’s hard to find reliable companies like this these days. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing garage door repair or replacement! Before Middlesex I had another company come out to do the work and they quoted me at $950 to fix the springs and pulleys on one garage door. Middlesex did both of my doors for a third of the price.

I had a wonderful experience. From my sales guy, Neil, my office contact Tanya to my installer Tyler I have nothing but positive things to say.Tyler was Especially wonderful. He did a great installation. Tyler took the time to explain all the new features to the garage door opener and even helped me download the app. Tyler also had nothing but positive things to say about the company. As an employer myself that was Especially nice to hear. I am hoping this wonderful review will get me an invite to the Christmas party next year.

Great company to deal with.Salesman Brian Hale came and looked over my garage and recommended a garage door system that would match my existing doors and give me the insulating qualities I needed. Brian is very knowledgeable and explained everything I needed to know about the door I purchased.Matt Alves and Matt Carlisle came and removed my existing roll up door and installed my new insulated door. Let me tell you, these are the guys that you want putting in your new doors. Very talented and knowledgeable and attention to every detail. Highly recommend.

The installation of the door opener was quick and convenient. However, not so psyched about the door opener itself. It's definitely quieter and smoother than the old motor. But, the garage door opener rarely works with our cars onboard remotes while in the 25' driveway, which was one of the reasons we went with the opener. It works upon initial programming but rarely after that. We've reprogrammed it multiple times and it works the first day but never again. The remotes hold the code but the door doesn't open. I don't know what the problem is but, I had installed a MyQ remote opener on our old door motor and it worked fine with our onboard remotes. Not so much with the new one. Asked the tech about it and was told it must be some type of interference. I don't know if I buy that since the remote device, from the same brand, in the same place, that I installed on the old motor, worked fine. Also, the MyQ app seems like a subversive way to get you to pay for yet another subscription service or maybe they limit the range to the paid version?

A technician erroneously installed springs rated for a 160-lb garage door. My door weighs 120 LB. This caused the pulleys and cables to fail and put excessive force stress on my garage door opener. I had to replace the springs, pulleys, cables, and garage door opener. When this was brought to their attention, the VP of the company refused to take responsibility for their technicians' mistake. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
