After spending $20k on the garage doors for my metal building and paying for the remotes and openers. The remotes didn’t work . After multiple trips out to program the remotes because they sent a tech that doesn’t work on commercial doors and he don’t know how to program them , one tech comes a few days later and says the reason why they don’t work after the first programming is because of the led lights in the building . I said well these will stay in our vehicles so they won’t be exposed to led lights. The remotes didn’t work from outside the metal building but worked from the inside. Their only response was you will need to buy external antennas for each door, after expressing my concern for not wanting to drill multiple holes in my building , the possibility of it leaking, running antenna cable to the outside and having multiple antennas just bolted randomly to the sides of my building they said they would send their commercial tech that had experience and it would look professional and neat. The tech shows up and after expressing my concerns he says he cannot guarantee the holes won’t leak , and if I was concerned about it after he was done I could put some silicone around it, he would also have to drill a hole in the back of the opener itself, I said is that going to void the warranty? He shrugged is shoulders and said idk I can ask, and since he don’t have a scissor lift he’s just going to have to go straight out the wall as high as he can reach on a ladder. This definitely isn’t a “professional “ meat job . So I declined to let him out the antenna up on my building if he couldn’t guarantee that they wouldn’t leak, couldn’t hang them in the proper spots so it looked neat and professional and if it could possibly void the warranty on the openers themselves. So basically I paid top dollar for doors and automatic openers with remotes and the remotes don’t function at all. There is no sense of urgency or care from their office about the current situation or getting this problem resolved.

Had a hinge come loose and tear part of my garage door. Chris from bayou door came out and had the door fixed in no time. He was very friendly. I will call them next time I need them.

These guys are awesome! They came out expecting to put a motor on and decided they need a different kind. Made another appointment to come back with the other motor, put it in, programmed my remotes and even sprayed my existing door so it wouldn't screech while opening and closing anymore. Fast, reliable and very friendly! Thank you!

Chris was confident he could repair my 33 year old garage double door, which I had pretty well written off as needing replaced. I even had my doubts, since he came without a helper to assist him in the job. Boy, was I wrong! He went right to work and stayed with it until the door worked flawlessly. Thank you Bayou Overhead Door for a great job done quick! These guys were great!They answered the call at 10:00pm during the week of Christmas and a day and a half later showed up, replaced the broken springs, lubed everything up which made it quieter, and even fixed the light fixture contact and replaced the bulb, all in under 30 minutes! Will definitely be using them for all future needs!
