Just had the most unpleasant experience with Door Systems technician Jimmy. Instead of providing customer service, he decided to be disrespectful and rude when asked about repairing a garage. His approach was confrontational and spilled out into the neighborhood when he took the stance of arguing with the neighbors.  Repeatedly saying he is part of a union and that other companies can't repair garage doors was unwarranted. His retreat involved him lying and saying he felt threatened and yelled at when he was simply asked questions and informed that he was incorrect about the home warranty we had in place for the garage doors.He never fixed the garage door opener and was adamant that nothing was wrong all while arguing with the customer.To say that this behavior took me aback is an understatement.In the future, if I have a garage door that needs to be repaired, Door Systems, especially Jimmy the technician, will not be who I call or refer.

The spring on my garage door broke. I called Door Systems as I had use them in the past. I called on a Sunday and they were able to have some come out the next day. I would rate my experience very high. The service person, Assa Abloy, was very knowledgeable. He explained everything that he was going to do but also offered alternatives to my benefit. I would recommend this person / company to anyone who asks. The service call was completely to my satisfaction, efficiently and clean.

We started thinking about replacing our four garage doors in 2022 but if you’re familiar with condo associations, things move slowly, particularly when it comes to spending money. Door Systems had the most competitive bid back then and when we rebid the job, Door Systems was still the most competitive among the five companies that gave us proposals.Over the course of two days this week, installers Jimmy and Isaac removed our 30+ year-old doors and installed four new doors. Their work was very professional, and all six homeowners are pleased with the end result.Update: Feb 19, 2025: One of our doors wouldn't open. We contacted Door Systems who immediately dispatched installer Jimmy. Jimmy fixed our problem and checked our other doors. All's well!

We had a major emergency - the garage door opener dropped out of the ceiling of the garage and was hanging by wires and being tangled up in a ladder hanging from the ceiling, all OVER our car! Brent came and analyzed the situation, helped get the door open enough to move the car out, and remount the opener motor. He serviced the door, all chains, electronic eyes and outdoor controls. Lithium grease, WD-40 included. All in less than an hour! He was efficient, professional and charming. We were lucky that there was not more damage initially and even luckier to get Brent as the service rep!
