Great company. Made a headache of a garage door that I have been putting off a simple matter. Came to my house at 8:45am; had my garage door fixed and working perfectly in 30 minutes, including all the parts, for a fair price. Couldn't have asked for better. I highly recommend them.

Forest Garage Doors made it easy to get my garage door repaired quickly and efficiently. My service tech, Caleb Penney, was professional and courteous, told me what needed to be replaced and why upfront and how long it would take. He charged me what he told me and completed the job on time and left me with some oil spray with directions on how to use it to keep my garage door working properly for a long time. They were on honest and dependable and I would highly recommend them.

Our garage door cable broke on Sunday, called and left a message, they called me back first thing Monday and had a technician out Tuesday. Great customer service!! My tech was awesome!! He came in looked at the door and repaired what was needed in less than an hour. Also the last service we had with them was 2011 when the door was put in so I have to say they do great work and the work they do is excellent and lasts for many years. I would recommend them because of their outstanding customer service and the great work they do.

Forest Door Co. installed my garage door opener twenty years ago, and today they made minor adjustments to the opener at a very reasonable price. They sent a professional technician, Kurai, who knew exactly what the opener needed. I cannot speak highly enough about his skills; he clearly communicated the door opener’s issues, and he gave me choices as to what upgrades that will keep the door in good working order. As a female dealing with unknown mechanical problems, he was sensitive in explaining things clearly and politely. I am so grateful to the company and their technician. Let me add, the cost was half of what I anticipated.In short, one can’t go wrong with this company or its representative.

Karai did a great job. He was polite and professional! He diagnosed the issue and fixed it quickly; even gave me tips on garage door maintenance. Would definitely recommend and use again if needed.

Needed a new garage door opener on the coldest day of the year and was able to find Forest Garage Doors after my Dad had them install two about 30 years ago. The employees I talked to on the phone were able to fit us in on a Saturday and the installer Corey was quick to get to work and cleaned up everything. A couple of months later we had a problem with the other garage door opener and Corey came out again and was a ble to trace that one sensor on the door went out. He replaced both sensors and wiring. He's great explains everything. Their prices are reasonable, and everyone is nice and understanding. I am so happy that they were still around after 30 years and still doing great work!!! I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.

Forest garage doors is the best in Chicago. Super products, great customer service, and their technicians are excellent. This time we had our garage door that they installed a few years back serviced and tuned up. Great tech, fast and easy service, and a fair price. These guys do a great job.

This is my second (!!!) 5-star review of Forest Garage Doors. Our work was done a couple of months ago, but I remembered to come back and remark on the quality of service.Needed a spring replaced; I did my due diligence to get an estimate, and called another company. The *other* company was rude and dismissive. They also quoted a price easily triple what Forest ended up charging.After that guy, it was such a breath of fresh air talking to Forests' people. Friendly, pleasant, helpful - it was such a positive contrast!So anyway, Forest came the next day (other guy said it would be days before they could come), worked quickly, and gave us a great price.I'm serious when I say I won't bother contacting anyone else for our garage door, and I'm low-key looking forward to giving Forest another call.

Requested garage door balancing and the door stays in place at exactly three feet but falls above three feet. Liftmaster says door should stay open and not fall midway up but if three feet means it’s balanced then I’m ok with that. Door is very close to track on one side and was hoping to adjust that but the door is not binding so if that can’t be fixed and it works I’m good on that too - I’m just uncertain. Door was installed by carpenters from Steele and Loeber garage builders and been like this for three years. I called for the balance and adjustment because my opener needs a travel module which Liftmaster is sending me. If all sounds ok with you then I’m good I guess. Thanks. After the three star post Forest came out to make sure the door was balanced correctly and it was done perfectly. They also assisted with my opener problem. Liftmaster sent a new travel module and I just finished installing the new part and door opens better than before thanks to the balancing done by Forest. You can’t go wrong with this business. Thank you Forest !!
