I so very much wanted to give a good review, but my backend - after the check cleared experience - has left me jaded.My fence cost nearly $10,000 in 2021. The customer service was excellent, the crew was fast and friendly on the day of install. Hence a two star review instead of one.My fence has 3 gates, one is a normal 5-6 foot wide person sized gate and the other two are 10 foot wide double gates. And almost immediately, they all stared to have problems. They sent someone out the first week and the person gate was fixed and has been fine since, but he couldn't fix the back 10' gate. It took several weeks, but eventually they came out and fixed it...That was until next year, when I had the same problem. I matched my neighbor's fence and tied into it in 2021, but their fence needed to be replaced and I paid for half of our shared side, I believe this cost me around $1,200. I let them know I was having issues getting in and out of my back gate again and since they were going to be here, could they fix it when they replaced my neighbor's fence. This was the beginning of May 2022 and my gate wasn't "fixed" until the end of July 2022 (almost 3 months).Then last year 2023, I started having problems with my front 10' gate. I sent pictures and let them know I was having issues on July 24, 2023 and I checked in again on Aug 18, 2023. Both times I was told they'd come and take care of me, but they never did.Every year I asked for repairs, they would never actually come out until I got firm and demanding, and I just don't want to have to be a jerk to get them to stand by their work.Luckily, I have a very smart friend that recognized that Sampson didn't account for the weight of my large gates so they were leaning on each other, especially when it would get warm. He installed some tension rods to help support the weight of my gate. Now after 3 years, I can finally get in and out of my backyard with ease, but with no help from Sampson.What's unfortunate, is that this could have been an amazing review because it was such a wonderful front end experience. But every time I couldn't get out of my gate or the 90% of the time there was a metal on metal screech trying to open my gates (worse than nails on a chalkboard sound), I would just get more and more bitter that they didn't take care of my fence and stand by their work. What's the point of having a fence if you can't get in and out with ease?

We’ve used Sampson twice now. First when we bought our home 7 yrs ago and again today for our new home. They came out about 30 mins after closing and were done same day, which helped so much since we have two dogs we needed to bring over. They are so quick and do great work! Our fence looks great and very reasonably priced.
