Very disappointed in my experience. Sales team was good. I walked out of there feeling happy about my purchase of 2 garage doors. I wanted quality and that’s why I went here. I wanted high end garage doors and expected to pay a lot. Waited forever for the doors which was to be expected because this was during the covid era. When the doors finally came in they sent over some subcontractors from out of state to do the install. I didn’t get the nice vans I was accustomed to seeing working on the beautiful houses in darien and Rowayton. They drilled holes in the doors in the wrong spots and installed the metal angle iron on the ceiling which looked like absolute garbage. They ended up sending one of their best guys over to redo the metal brackets on the ceilings. The damage was already done on the doors. What was I going to do… send the doors back and wait another year for new ones? They did try to fix the situation but I wish I knew they were going to send subs instead of their own guys. I would have waited another month to have a professional come to take care of it. Love and learn I guess. Very disappointed

Angelo was super helpful - I wasn't really sure what I was looking for so he spent time talking me through the options. Installation was professional and quick. Very happy with my new door!

The barn our 3 doors were installed in is less than an “ideal structure”.Since our remodel to prevent collapse or further damage, It’s now stable and secure but not particularly square, plumb or level. They guys had no problems.

I highly recommend Ed’s Garage Doors! I called yesterday with a concern about my garage door “sticking” / jerking upwards when opening, and I had technicians at my house the next morning. They gave me a call when they were on their way, arrived within the expected timeframe, and completed a thorough inspection of the door quickly. All the while, they were courteous, knowledgeable, and shared their thought process as they worked. Turns out, there was some warping around the frame that was creating friction, and the chain was a bit loose. Their rate was very reasonable for this area, and there was no upselling; in fact, they shared their maintenance recommendations when I made it known that I was interested in learning and keeping up with things myself and explained what to look out for in the future prior to calling them for service. Overall, the company left a great impression on me as an honest and reliable team!
