ISLAND OVERHEAD DOOR LTD 1979

I was in Mexico and my house sitter called to say one of our garage doors wouldn’t open with a photo of the right cable hanging loose. I told her it required a professional and said I would call Island Overhead Door. I called and spoke to Suzanne and asked if I could arrange for repair the following Monday when I would be back home. She said she would make her best efforts for me. Monday back home and called Suzanne right at 8:00 a.m. Suzanne indicated they had two employees off unexpectedly but she would see if she could work her magic and get someone there. Our car was trapped inside the garage but Suzanne called back and said “Travis” would be there within the hour. Travis arrived in 20 minutes and immediately set to work. It was a broken spring, which is pretty common. It took Travis probably no more than 30 - 45 minutes to replace the spring and have the door fully operational. He did a thorough check of the door and made sure everything was tight. And then quickly checked the second door as well. The cost was very reasonable. From beginning to end, Island Overhead Doors provided excellent service. Suzanne's insights into available door options to fit my home situation and to achieve the look I was hoping for was invaluable. A technician came out to confirm the framing phase to make sure everything would go smoothly when the door was ready to go in. Travis was the service technician who installed the door and equipment. Very professional and efficient. The difference the new door has made is incredible going from an old manual lift up door to plywood sheets to a now beautiful door is hard to measure. The door operation is smooth and quiet; the look is modern and really gives my home an updated look!

Absolutely awesome company. A rail of my garage door ripped out of the wall and left the garage door in a diagonal position at 9 pm. Suzanne had Travis at my house by 10:30 am. Not only did he repair the garage door, it's working better than before !!HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY !!!

Yesterday Travis, the IOH technician arrived on site and set the bar extremely high in relation to how customer service should be delivered. He explained exactly what he was going to look for and what the issue was with our door and also his game plan as how he would fix the issue.
